Insurance Accordion Closed

Students participating in a university-sponsored field trip (e.g., observing runs) do not have health or medical coverage through the State’s self-insurance program in the event of an accident. This also applies to students who are injured in the dorm, classroom or university-supported activity. Students should provide their own health and medical coverage, either through their parents’ insurance policy or by purchasing a student plan such as the one available through Campus Health Services.
